The Keno & Clubs Queensland Awards is an event photographers dream!
The Event Photos team were ready to get their dancing shoes on with a 50s Rock ‘N’ Roll theme for the Keno & Clubs Queensland Awards of Excellence hosted at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Guests were treated to old cars and motorbikes around the venue and entertained by MC Shane Jacobson who rocked up on a mean motorcycle down the pink carpet to start the night before bashing out some tunes. As the night progressed Paulini Curuenavuli performed with a dance group and also got the dance floor started.
Awards Photography Coverage
This year we were asked not to take award photos on stage. Instead Clubs QLD opted for an off stage photo area for official award photos. We provided one photographer at the side of stage to capture award winners walking up to stage and also shaking hands in an unobtrusive manner.
As award winners collected their award, they moved to the side of stage where we provided a second photographer to capture formal award winner photos in front of a backdrop with and without the award sponsor.
Photo Booth Area
Clubs QLD also wanted to allow guests to take photos with a vintage car so we organised a secondary photo studio setup alongside the media wall where guests could gather together to get a portrait of themselves with this beauty of a car during the evening.
