On 5 January 2010, the Melbourne Rebels were endorsed by the Australian Rugby Union as the fifth domestic licence holder in an expanded Super Rugby competition from 2011 as a strategic initiative aimed at growing the game’s national footprint and profile.

Earlier this year we were approached by Sport Sponsorship and Entertainment Marketing Agency, Acrobatt who wanted some ideas on how to engage people at their pre-game activations. The idea was to photograph people on-site in front of a green screen and put them in their choice of a team photo or a team huddle.

We were able to provide a photographer for 8 activations across the season at AAMI Park to photograph and supply images instantaneously with our onsite software and have the photograph printed on-site and handed over within minutes. The images are then uploaded onto a specially designed website, http://www.rabodirectrebelsphotos.com where patrons could download their high resolution photo for free.
